NOVEMBER 2009

1. Boy's basketball teams were in action. Boys U16 lost against Bantry 29-3 and the U 19 team beat them 46-30. Friday, they play Ballyvourney.

2.Nicola Mc Cormick, our German teacher has taken a group of 14 students to Germany for the week.

3.Senator Jim Daly visited the school to give a talk on Dail Eireann and the workings of the Government. He also brought along a local senator for the 3rd years to meet.

4.5th Year English went to Cork to see "A Doll's House".

5. Due to the adverse weather, many sporting matches were cancelled.

6. Our prizegiving ceremony was held with our guest speaker, Minister for Education, Batt O Keeffe, presenting the prizes.
