THINGS ARE AS BUSY AS EVER IN THE COLLEGE FOR THIS MONTH.

1.Boy's Senior Basketball are through to the Semifinal of their championship! Well done to the lads and good luck in the rest of your matches!

2.Our prize giving night was held this month, and we were delighted to have Mr. Brian Crowley in to speak to the school and present the awards. The listings for the award winners in on the prizegiving section of the webpage.

3. The student council members are back from their trip to Strasbourg.

4. Orla O' Regan is back from Rennes, at the Youth European Parliament.
5.Transition years are in full production for their mini companies and are also practicing their parts for the Christmas concert.

6. In our efforts to send students to Calcutta with the HOPE foundation, chocolate is being sold around the school, to help raise funds.

7. The Green Schools committtee are working on our theme of "Energy" and they are finding out the price of electricity and oil for each student. They are also making useful tips on the intercom each thursday.

8. 6th year Agricultural Science went to Manch in Ballineen as part of their Leaving Certifcate course and all had a good day.

9. 5th year Career Guidance classes went to Rochestown Park Hotel for Careers exhibition

10. 4th and 5th year Career Guidance visit to Maritime College, Ringaskiddy

11.Transition year North/South exchange

12. Transition year exchange tripto Freigericht Germany

13. 1st year Friendship day

14. 3rd year CSPE Oireachtais day with Jim Daly

15. 6th year Geography to Manch Estate Ballineen as part of their leaving Cert programme.

16.Transition year Agricultural Science to a deer farm and organic farm
