Geography is a core Junior Certificate subject, and becomes an option in transition year. The subject is being taught by Hilda Hussey, Ann Carroll, Kathy Kirwan, Margaret Mc Sweeney and Eddie Sheehy.
In Junior Cert the book used is "New Complete Geography" and in Leaving Cert "Our dynamic World".
The topics covered include;

• Regional Geography
• Physical Geography
• Geo ecology
• Geographical investigations which includes a field trip which changes according to the guidelines from the Department of Science and Education.
