Watch this space for pictures of the upcoming school performance for Christmas, "SCC will rock you"!

1. The Badminton team did very well in their competitions in Cork this month, and a full report is to be found on the Badminton site.

2.The Leaving Cert Ag. Science class went to Darra Agricultural Science College.

3.The school held a no uniform day for funds for the Christmas Hampers for the hospital, which will be presented by Transition years in the coming days.

4.Amnesty group supported the local Schull group in celebrating world human rights day on December 10th. More information on the Amnesty page.

5.3rd CSPE invited Joan Giller to talk to them about her work in Dafur and her involvement in Amnesty. They then put up posters in the hall and had a power point presentation to show all the students, the meaning of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

6.5th and 4th year Ag Science went to Dan Mc Sweeney's farm to see new born lambs and other sheep on the farm.

7. The home economics class made their christmas stockings and have them on display in the college.

8.In Career Guidance, Captain Cathal Keohane visited the school to give a talk on Careers in the Defence forces.

9.Mary O'Connor, Senior Ladies Cork Champion in Football and Camogie, came to the school to present medals to the girls champion teams.

10.Preparations are in full swing for the production of "Schull Community College will rock you" . With live music and excellent vocal performances, it will be a night to remember.

11. Transition years raised funds to make up Christmas Hampers for the Hospital and presented them on Thursday December 17th.
