Basketball
Sports
The 2009-2010 Season
Basketball- The U16 and U19 girls teams both made it to the County final this season. The U19 won their competition on a score of 25-24. The team progressed to the All-Ireland quarter finals in UL but didn't make it out of their group.
For the U16 team, this is the third consecutive final they have played in, but they were unlucky to be beaten by Christ the King SS.
The U19 boys team made it to the County Semi-final where they lost to Rochestown.
The U 16 boys team didn't make it out of the group stage but put in some excellent performances. The school has all levels in basketball for both boys and girls. Tony Sheehan coaches the teams.
We have junior and senior teams all involved in local and county competitions.
2009
Boy's Basketball league games have started already with wins over Bantry and Ballyvourney in the Senior teams.
Boy's U 16 are playing well but have no wins yet.
The Girls league is on Thurs and Friday Nov 12th and 13th.
