Schull Community College

The school has all levels in basketball for both boys and girls. Tony Sheehan coaches the teams.
We have junior and senior teams all involved in local and county competitions.
Recently in the Cork League match in the school, our team beat Kinsale and lost to Rosscarbery.
U 16 boy's went to Dublin to take part in the quarter finals of the All-Ireland championship but unfortunately lost.
Girls teams include first years, second years , U 14, U 16 & U 18. They had many games against teams such as Charleville, Dunmanway and Kinsale. They have not won any major competitions but still have loads of enthusiasm for games and practice.

The first year girls basketball team of
Michelle Lucey, Lucy Hunt, Rachel Goggin, Sadhbh Smith, Rachel Waldron, Katie Scully, Roisin Reidy, Mari O'Callaghan, Denise Minihane, Meabh Ni Shuilleabhain, Saoirse O'Riordan and Steph O'Regan,
were very successful in their campaign, going all the way to the All Ireland Semi final.
