Transition Year
Our transition year programme aims to introduce students to a broad range of educational experiences, which will develop their personal and social skills, enabling them to cope with the challenges of modern living. It aims to bridge the gap between Junior and senior cycles so as to enable students make informed choices about Senior Cycle courses and to meet the demands of these courses. Allowing, as it does, a shift of focus from school subjects to individual students and their community it aims to develop a sense of place and very importantly to ensure that all students experience a sense of achievement at the end of the year.
